The summer sun spoiled us. We soaked up the healthy rays and got a nice tan. But now you can almost see that attractive summer tan fading day by day. Applying sunscreen regularly, moisturizing your skin, and patting it dry after showering can delay the loss of that great tan, but unfortunately, it cannot be stopped.
It's not what you think
However, we have some good news for you. Even if you feel "chalky white" again at the end of September and beginning of October: You will still look tan. The fact that you feel pale is a subjective perception. It's just that the intensity of your summer tan has faded a bit. We have a few tips to help you maintain your attractive tan through the winter.
Carotene-rich diet & tanning salon
Some foods have a positive effect on skin color. These include spinach, chilies, red peppers and carrots. In particular, the amount of carotene in carrots is known to tint the skin. Totally healthy and chemical free. Drink freshly squeezed carrot juice every day to add color to your skin. However, do not overdo it. The more carrot juice you drink, the more intense the discoloration of your skin will be and you will turn orange. One glass a day is enough to "preserve" your summer tan for longer.
A visit to the solarium also tans. The light from the tanning bed dries out the skin, so the natural summer tan is lost more quickly. However, this loss of color is compensated by a new tan in the artificial sun. There are two things to keep in mind to ensure that your natural summer tan is not replaced by an artificial tan:
- Visit a tanning salon only once a week.
- Moisturize your skin daily.
Biotulin hydrates the face, neck and décolleté. A rich and nourishing aloe vera lotion provides lasting hydration to the rest of the body.
