With summer just around the corner, sun-seekers can hardly wait to get out in the sun and get a tan. A seamless tan - what woman wouldn't want that? But for many women, the thought of lying on the beach without a bikini or swimsuit quickly makes them resign themselves to pale bikini lines. That no longer has to be the case. There is now special seamless tan swimwear that allows you to tan seamlessly with your swimwear.
How does seamless tan swimwear work?
Unlike other bikinis and swimsuits, seamless tan swimwear does not contain UV protection, but allows UV rays to pass through the fabric unfiltered. The fabric used to make the special swimwear contains fine pores that allow approximately 2/3 of the UVA rays to pass through unfiltered. As a result, the fabric is transparent to the sun and the skin underneath the fabric simply tans with the sun.
Sun-permeable swimwear: quality matters
As ingenious as the invention of sun-protective swimwear is, it is still very much in its "baby shoes" and the selection of truly beautiful bikinis and swimsuits is not very large. What's more, this type of swimwear is still relatively expensive if you want good quality. And this is something you should consider if you really want a seamless tan without getting naked. Only high quality sheer bikinis and swimsuits will really tan the skin underneath the fabric.
Covered skin tans slower
Fabric-covered skin tans more slowly. This is true even for transparent bikinis. If you have worn conventional swimwear in recent years, the skin on the covered parts of your body will take longer to tan than the arms, legs and shoulders. This is because these parts of the body simply lack a base tan. However, a sheer bikini is still worth the investment because a seamless tan is great and saves you from going to the tanning salon. But remember to protect your entire body with sunscreen - even under your bikini.
